As one of their Design Team Members I have three projects in this month's issue and today I'm sharing a sneak peek to entice you to check out this awesome digital scrapbooking and paper crafting magazine.

For all three of my projects, I stuck with a Christmas theme and used the Santa Dear collection from Photo Play.  I created a layout based on the color challenge and then a card and tag using the card and tag sketches in this month's issue. Here is a peek at the card I made...

As one of their Design Team Members I have two projects in this month's issue and today I'm sharing some sneak peeks to entice you to check out this awesome digital scrapbooking and paper crafting magazine...
The first project I created is based on one of the awesome sketches in this month's issue. It is a two page layout sketch, but I switched it up and did a single page layout. I finally used some of the Pebbles Happy Days collection that I have been hoarding. It is such a fun and cheery collection and was perfect for the photos and memories that I recorded on this layout!

The other layout that I created for this issue was for the Theme Challenge. Any guesses on what the theme might have been? If you take a peek at my sneak, I'm sure you'll guess...it was Halloween or Fall. I, of course, had to pick Halloween! I used a combination of fun Halloween themed products from Echo Park, Tim Holtz and EK Success to create my layout.

Dotted Frame | Downloadable Cut File

Hello my scrappy and crafty friends and thanks so much for visiting! Today, I'm sharing a new layout I recently created for the Scrapbook Generation Create Magazine July Issue. This layout is part of the monthly Color Challenge and as you can tell it was a red, white and blue color challenge. I didn't have a ton of patterned papers in my stash that fit the color challenge, but I did have a great assortment of patterned cardstock that worked perfectly. I went with a rather clean and simple design and mostly embellished my design with a combination of pre-cut die cuts, punches, metal dies and a digital cut file created by yours truly.

I didn't realize until I was writing this post that I had used so many different cutting tools on one layout and that I had used them to create most of my embellishments!

Sew Sweet Gift Box | Create Magazine

Hello and Happy Monday! I don't know about your weekend, but mine flew by! Nothing too exciting, but it was full of time spent together with Danny and Lincoln. Today, I'm sharing a gift box that I created for the July issue of Scrapbook Generation's Create Magazine.

Each month they share a fantastic card sketch and challenge some of their designers to create something other than a card with the sketch. I was one of those designers for this issue and I inspired to create a gift box!

Hello Friend Gift Box by Juliana Michaels featuring Jillibean Soup Sew Sweet Sunshine Soup and SRM Stickers Gift Box for the July 2015 Scrapbook Generation Create Magazine

For the gift box itself, I used an A2 Card Box from SRM Stickers. I then covered the front and back panels with pieces of patterned paper from the Jillibean Soup Sew Sweet Sunshine Soup collection. (Say that 5 times fast!)

To further embellish the box, I added some Jillibean Soup Sew Sweet Pea Pod die cuts, wood veneer and Sugar Picks along with some SRM Sticker Stitches and a SRM Stickers Sentiment. The final touch was hand tied burlap bow!

My first project features product from SRM Stickers and Jillibean Soup and is based on one of their awesome sketches. Sketches you say? Why yes, every month they share multiple sketches - including sketches for single page layouts, double page layouts, cards and tags. I love that you can use the sketches for more than just cards.

Scrapbook Generation CREATE Magazine featuring BoBunny | O Christmas Tree Scrapbook Page

I know we all miss our print scrapbook magazines, however, if you are looking for one to fill that void, then I highly recommend Scrapbook Generation's CREATE Magazine. They have done an excellent job of creating a high quality digital magazine that provides you with everything you could want in a scrapbook magazine, including sketches, a wide variety of paper crafting projects, a fabulous reader gallery and more. 

Each month, they also feature one of the top scrapbooking manufacturers in the industry. This month, they are featuring BoBunny throughout the magazine, including everything you ever wanted to know about BoBunny and even how they got their name. They're also featuring projects created by the BoBunny Design Team and I'm pleased to share a look at the double page layout that I created for them using one of the amazing sketches created by Allison Davis.
