Bo Bunny Combo Sticker Flower Tutorial

I love making flowers.  But I have never tried making them from cardstock stickers.  Have you?   For this layout we were limited on how many Bo Bunny supplies we could use to create a 2 page layout. So I decided to focus on how to use what I had and to make the most of it. That is how I came up with the idea of making my own 3D flowers by cutting and layering the cardstock stickers. If you are interested in how I did it, keep reading below for a step by step photo tutorial.

Our supply list consisted of:
4 pieces of Bo Bunny patterned paper
1-2 pieces of Double Dot cardstock
2 embellishments of your choice

Here are some close ups of the flowers...

I also made a little hidden journaling tab...

OK...So now for the Cardstock Sticker Flower Tutorial!!!
Start with a flower sticker and cut along the edge.

So that you have these 2 pieces.

Now cut again and you will have this.

Set everything to the side and take the first strip you cut off and crinkle fold it to look like this.

Repeat with the next strip.

Punch out a scallop circle from scrap paper.
Use your hot glue gun to adhere the first strip to the edge of this piece.

Repeat with the second strip.

Now trim the edge of the center piece with scallop edge scissors and distress it a bit by folding and scrunching it.

Adhere it to the center of the flower using foam dots.

To create the center cut a heart from the cardstock sticker background paper.

Stick it on a piece of chipboard and cut around it.

Adhere it to the center of the flower with foam tape.

Now that you have the basics of what I did,
take a look at the other flower stickers on the combo sticker sheet.
There are several flowers you can use this technique with.
Keep scrolling to see another flower I created.

So, there you have it! I hope you enjoyed the tutorial and will give it a try on your next layout!
