17turtles Guest Designer | Leanne Allinson

Hi Everyone! It's Leanne Allinson here today from Our Little Family, and I am so very excited to be a part of Juliana's venture in spreading the word about her fabulous cut files!! Today I want to share with you, my love of pie charts! There is so much potential with the story telling when a pie chart is involved. But I've taken this opportunity to make the Pie Chart Love digital cut file the real feature on my page.

After reducing the size of the cut file to fit my 8.5" x 11" layout, I have cut it out from plain, white cardstock. My next step was to create a stained glass window effect from the negative spaces.

Not only does the white outline from the pie chart become highlighted, but it enhances the soft palette "windows" of color, surrounding my black and white photo.

But wait! There's more... LOL! If you would like to see the second layout I've created, this time using the Roses digital cut file, head on over to my blog "Our Little Family". It may or may not have involved some gold glitter cardstock...! Here's a little sneak peek to whet the appetite! - Leanne..x
