My Mind's Eye March Challenge

Today I am sharing a layout I created for My Mind's Eye March Challenge. They challenged us to use their die cuts on a project. I used three of them on my layout. One for the title, one for the journaling and the other as a decorative element to help anchor the photo.

On the title piece I added hand stitching using craft floss.

For die cut that I used as a decorative element, I actually cut it in half, matted it with cardstock and then placed it on each side of my photo.

To create the sunburst piece, I hand cut each piece of patterned paper into a neck tie like shape. I then played around with their placement until I liked it and adhered them to my layout. It was quite fun playing around with all the patterns and colors! I used a combination of papers and embellishments from The Sweetest Thing collection...one of my all time favorites!!!
Well, that's all for today! See you soon!!!
