Elle's Studio Sketch And Stars Background Free Cut File

I know I just announced being a new member of the Elle's Studio Design Team, and today, I get to share my first project with you for them. This layout was created using their January 2 Sketch. As you know, I love sketches and Elle's has always made sketches that I find so inspiring. It was truly a joy to be able to play along with one of them as part of their Design Team and to be able to share it with you today.

Head on over to the Elle's Studio Blog to see the sketch, more inspiration and all the details you need to know about playing along for your chance to win a $10 Gift Certificate to the Elle's Studio Shop.

I also mentioned earlier this week, that I would have a new FREE cut file for you. I created a new one called Stars Background and I used it on my "Joy" Layout.  Keep reading below for details on how to download this file for FREE.

Stars Background was created as an all purpose background piece. This cut file will work wonderfully on all of your paper crafting projects including cards, scrapbook pages, home decor and more. This cut file has multiple uses, in that it can also be used as a stencil or mask. Another added bonus is that the negative cut piece will give you 20 stars that you can use on other projects. This digital cutting file can be downloaded for FREE and is available in both SVG and Studio formats.  All of my digital cutting files are for personal use only. 1. Really cute background! Thanks for the file! :)

  2. Thank you! This is great for boys pages. My first son was born with a mark shaped like a star on the back on one leg - so I collect, er... hoard star shapes.

  3. Gorgeous! Love the mix of PP on background. Beautiful design and love the stars!

  4. Hi Juliana! Congratulations on the new DT spot. So fabulous!
I am also very excited to see that you are continuing with Bo Bunny and even being the DT leader!!! Fabulous! I have a question: I would like to give my little girl a Misc me album and 2 complete sets for her birthday. My girl loves to scrapbook but she gets so discouraged because her pages never look like mine. Do you think I could try the Misc me system to keep her interested (I need a scrapper buddy for the next couple of years!). I think you have quite a bit of experience with this! I guess that maybe limiting her choices (only 4x6 but lots of stickers etc) would help her create some pretty pages. I have not tried it yet - I am more so a "layout girl"
I really appreciate your input on this one!
    Happy New Year!

  5. love this background Juliana, thanks for sharing!

  12. Love your layout and the sweet ornament photo. That stars background is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!

  13. Juliana, you are such a whiz with your Silhouette. I just love the files you create. You should open your own cut file shop :) Thanks so much for the freebie. I'll be sure to tag you if, er... when I use it, haha.

  14. I was wondering if you could let me know what I am doing wrong. I am trying to cut with Silhouette using SVG file and it is not cutting the entire piece. It gets about 3/4 of the way through cutting and then just stops. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

    1. I would be glad to try to help you Corrina. Are you on Facebook? We could message there if you like.

  15. ThankYOU VERY much, Juliana, I LOVE your cutting files and appreciate all your hard work!!!
