Love me some Bo Bunny!!!

Yes, I will admit it! I am in LOVE with Bo Bunny!
Shhhh!!! Don't tell my DH! LOL!!!
I had a great time putting together my submission for their DT call! Here are my projects and then some others that I created just for the fun of it!

I was inspired to add the googly eyes after seeing these in their new release...Boo Crew! I cut out the circles from the Mango Luau Babe paper, distressed the edges then applied them as a frame on some black cardstock! I know this line is more of a tropical vacation theme, but the colors in some of the papers said Halloween to me!

I just love to crimp my striped punched borders!!!

For this one I used the outline of the letter stickers on white cardstock to help the title stand out more and I used the buttons as leaves on the flowers! I applied double sided tape to the back of the ribbon and then pleated it before adhering it to the cardstock background.

Do you ever just get this idea in your head of something you want to create and that you have to attempt no matter what? Well, these origami wedding outfits was one of those for me! LOL!!! I don't highly recommend creating these unless you have a few hours to devote to them and/or you just love a challenge! I had had the time and I love a challenge, but it took me quite awhile to learn how to do the paper folding and then to create them using heavier weight paper! Overall, I really do love how they turned out!

Here's a close up of my origami work!

For this card I altered a piece of their chipboard with some patterned paper and then sanded the edges.

Here's a little Reduce, Reuse, Recycle for you...
I used the packaging from Bo Bunny Buttons and Bling to create a treat holder. I also created a coordinating birthday card.

here's a close up of the treat holder...

I hope you have enjoyed the bunny hop! LOL!!!
Thanks for stopping by! And good luck to everyone who submitted for the Bo Bunny DT call!

Hey! Hey! Hey!!!

Magistical Memories...is having a sale! Check it out!!!

I have to admit, this is currently one of my latest faves! It is hanging in my scrappy room making me super happy! It is definitely the perfect inspiration piece for me!

Tips: I used the chippie border Out on a Limb to create this project. I modified it, by removing the tree limb and only using the bird. I hand cut the flowers and leaves from the JBS paper and then hot glued them in place.
(Supplies: Patterned paper: Jillibean Soup; Chipboard: Magistical Memories Out on a Limb; Punch: EK Success; Frame: Hobby Lobby; Twigs: from my backyard)

Next up...some of the new Fancy Pants Krafts Kut line! I am so loving this line! I added a little bling for some fun and I punched and hand cut the star shapes to embellish it further. I also cut out the large star and distressed the edges.

Last but not least...Mixer #25 is up and here is my take on this weeks mixer!

I am putting on the final touches for my Bo Bunny submission! Regardless of what happens, I have really enjoyed creating the projects I am submitting! I wish everyone who is going for it the best of luck!!!!

Mix It Up!
We have just added 4 new talented scrapbookers to our design team and I am so excited to be working with them! I have had the pleasure of working with Rae and Estee in the past and I am looking forward to getting to know Erin and Cherie more! They are super talented and you can check out their blogs by clicking on their name over on the right hand side of my blog!!! And you have got to stop by Mix It Up to see Mixer #24! I was in awe when I saw how these ladies mixed it up for this one!!! AMAZING!!!! For this mixer we had the sketch below for inspiration and then we were challenged to use a photo that was at least 20 years old.

Here's my take on it!
I went with a photo of me at 16 and one of me now at 36 and journaled in a questioning format about what my 16 year old self would think of me now!
I was inspired to create the flowers and their leaves using a technique I learned on The Next Step which you can check out here.

Chip it Up!!!
Here is another of my Magistical Memories projects for this month! We have a challenge going on for July to use lyrics from a song as your title. Of course you must use at least one piece of chipboard on your project! It can be a card, layout or altered item and it needs to be uploaded into the challenge gallery no later than July 31. Winners will receive some amazing Magistical Memories chipboard!!! I went with "So Happy Together" for my song and I hand wrote the words to the refrain around the outside edge! The chippie I used was Out on a Limb however I altered it a bit by removing the bird and inking it that nice brown color.

Serve it Up!!!
Jillibean Soup that is!!!
I have made it no secret that I am in love with their products! Well now their new lines are totally blowing me away! Here's the most recent release they shared on their blog!

Lentil

And as I was getting the above link, what do a spy? These amazing calendar sprouts! How freaking clever is that?!

Well that's all I've got for now! Happy scrappin' and thanks for stopping by!!!

Time flies...

when you are having fun! And I have been having a ton of fun scrapping lately!

I have 2 more LO's to share with you using the fabulous June kit from Scrapbook Doodle! I also have a sketch that I created for each one as well!

I just rubbed the ink pad over the flower to add color to the embossed areas and then around the edges. I did the same thing with the chipboard.

I have been wanting to do a "My Favorite Things" layout for awhile and this paper just seemed to call for it to me! As you can see some of my favorite things include the beach, Chuck Taylor's, Dr. Pepper, chocolate chip cookies and the Twilight series!

Here is my first project for Magistical Memories this month. I created this altered photo frame using the bubble tree. I painted it with acrylic paint and then dressed it up with some Bo Bunny buttons and bling and some Kaiser Craft pearls.

(Supplies: Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny and American Crafts; Chipboard: Magistical Memories; Ribbon, Buttons and Bling: Bo Bunny; Pearls: Kaiser Craft; Punches: Martha Stewart and Fiskars; Photo Frame: Target)

And last but not least....
Jillibean Soup! I am in love with this...

And I can not wait to get my hands on their new stuff!!!

Happy scrapping and I hope you are having a great summer!!!
