Altered Art with Bo Bunny Apple Cider

Today on the Bo Bunny Blog we are sharing easy altered projects. I am never sure that altered is easy, but hopefully this won't seem to difficult when you look at it! I really love to try to think outside the box when I am creating an altered project. As soon as I saw the Apple Cider collection, I knew I wanted to design a fall home decor piece. This is a wall hanging and the base of it is made from 3 pages of the Apple Cider Mini Album. I adhered them together overlapping the middle pumpkin onto the other 2 pumpkins. I then embellished it with a variety of stickers, Noteworthy pieces and fussy cut images.

The little girl, little boy and 4 of the pumpkins are fussy cut from various papers. I further embellished them with glitter glue and jewels.

Bless Your Heart & Home Wall Hanging
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Journey, Cut Outs, Pumpkin Patch/Apple Cider

I had a great time creating this fall "scene" and I hope you enjoy it too!!! Make sure you stop by the Bo Bunny Blog to see what the other designers have to share today. I am sure you will be inspired!

Bella Blvd On Going Guest Designer

I am totally doing a HUGE HAPPY DANCE!!! I have been asked to be an Ongoing Guest Designer with Bella Blvd !!! Take a peak below to check out the rest of the amazing talent who will be inspiring you this coming year with fabulous Bella Blvd creations!!!  Congratulations to all of you!!!

Here are two of the layouts that I created and submitted as part of my design team application. I just love how easily each & every collection from Bella Blvd mixes & matches.  I used a variety of papers and products from various collections to create each layout.  This photo of me & Danny seemed just right for the title piece that I cut from Sophisticates "Tall Tags" paper.

This next layout was fun to create because of the photo & subject matter.  I have really never had a photo of me at work and one day a family member of one of my patients went around taking photos of everyone who was taking care of her.  He then printed them and gave them to each of us. I was quite excited to be able to scrap it!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing in my scrappy happiness! I can't wait to share and hopefully inspire you more with the amazing Bella Blvd products!!!

HAPPY BELLA HUGS!!!

Simply Beautiful Bo Bunny Sketch

I love using sketches and I love creating them too!  Today I have a layout I created based on a sketch I made for Bo Bunny.  The sketch and layouts created by myself and some of the other Bo Bunny designers were posted on the Bo Bunny blog this past Friday. You can see more HERE
This is my take on the sketch.  I am sure some of you might wonder what came first? The layout or the sketch? For me the sketch always comes first and then I am inspired to create my layout.  I just love these photos of my niece from her dance recital this past spring.  At the time I really wondered what papers I would use with them since she had on an outfit that was black and red.  I put them to the side and decided they would probably have to wait awhile to be scrapped. Little did I know that Bo Bunny would design this gorgeous collection called Serenade that would be PERFECT for them!  As soon as I saw this collection I knew what photos I would be scrapping with it!!!

I fussy cut the flowers and then layered them with 3M double sided foam tape to give them more dimension.  The bling was then added to the center of each flower. I also popped up the "simply beautiful" sticker using scrap chipboard and the double sided tape.

Here is the sketch. I followed it pretty closely other than adding the layers of papers and Noteworthy pieces behind the photos.

Well, that's all for now! It has been a rather busy weekend and I am actually looking forward to a more quiet week ahead!!! I hope you have a wonderful week!

The Things You Do

Here we are 7 years later and still going strong! Danny & I just celebrated our wedding anniversary on   Monday, so I thought I would share a recent layout I created with some silly photos of him. He is forever acting silly, especially when he has an audience. So the more people around the more silly & goofy he can get! I am so thankful for his sense of humor and the fact that he can always put a smile on my face. This layout is for you Baby!!!

Of course you see some awesome Jillibean Soup goodness going on here. I have fallen in love with the Macho Nacho collection. In fact I think I need to get some more of it! LOL!!! I have developed a love for blue & green lately. I added the bits of red for a little contrast and I had fun playing with a SC mask and some TA mists here too.

I have noticed that I have been reaching for my ruler & a marker quite a bit lately and drawing straight lines in groups under my title or journaling. I kind of like the hand drawn feel it provides.

Do you like to doodle on your layouts?

Mix It Up with Bo Bunny

If you are looking for the Creative Scrappers Blog Hop and my giveaway go HERE!

Do you ever mix it up when you are scrapping? Here is what I mean. Today on the Bo Bunny blog some of us were asked to mix & combine different Bo Bunny collections. It is so easy to stick with a collection when scrapping with Bo Bunny since they create such complete collections with papers and all the embellishments you could ever need to play with. However to step outside the box and mix and match different products from their collections is really quite enjoyable. I found it a wonderful challenge. But how did I decide which papers and embellishments to use? That is the question!
I started with the photos that I wanted to scrap and I went from there. The new Detour collection was my first go to and then I went through the other new collections and choose coordinating papers and embellies to complete the layout. By the way, the background paper is from Camp A Lot and I have been hoarding this piece. I was so happy to finally find it a home!!!

I used the Serenade dimensional stickers however I wanted one more flower so I fussy cut it from a piece of patterned paper to create my own.

Now it's your turn to mix it up!  And make sure you stop by the Bo Bunny blog to see what the other designers mixed & matched!!!
