Sketches, Coupons & Cards

Oh man am I glad that spring is arriving...the warm air and sunshine are fantastic!  And the tulip tree and daffodils are blooming in my yard!!!  I need to get some photos of them!!!

So the sketch....Creative Scrappers Sketch #199 is LIVE on the CS Blog.  Here it is, but make sure you stop by the blog to see what an amazing job the design team did with the sketch.  If you remember, Kristine Davidson just released her first EBook.  Well, you might be interested to know that she has just shared a coupon code for $2 off the cost of the Ebook.  You can check out all the details on her blog HERE.

Now for the cards I mentioned...
Both of these were recently up on the Bo Bunny blog.  This first one was created using the Bo Bunny Ambrosia card kit.  If you have not seen these, I recommend searching them out.  I know that A Cherry on Top carries them!  They come with a guide to help you design the cards as shown.  But what I like is that the kits contain so many great embellishments that you can easily mix things up and create your own.

This next card was created for the current Card use a banner on your card.  Banners are certainly all the rage these days and you can see them used in so many ways on all sorts of projects.  I used one of the tags from the Ambrosia card kit, cut strips of patterned paper from the 6x6 paper pad and then punched holes in the corners to create my banner. I strung them using this fun craft thread that I found at Hobby Lobby and then added the little butterfly charm and some jewels!

I hope you are enjoying the spring like weather were you live!
Thanks for stopping by!
