Happy New Year!

I know, a bit of time has pasted since my last post! Including Christmas! Christmas was great and my husband (who is the bestest ever) suprised me with a new Droid Incredible! I am now officially up to date on technology. (I had one of those ancient flip phones! LOL!!!) I really love my new toy!!!
As for the lack of posting, that will be changing this month! I promise! I have been working to get ahead and I actually have a few posts already scheduled to post later this month! Watch out world, Juliana is getting even more organized!
I saw the inspiration for this project at a trendy home decor store months ago and I knew that I wanted to try to create my own version of it. I also knew that some Jillibean Soup goodness was going to be my paper of choice! This clock now has a prominent place in my scrappy room and I can't wait to use it to inspire how I decorate my scrappy room once we have a new house.
I used paper mache book boxes from Hobby Lobby and just covered them with patterned paper. I attached the clock findings to the inside of the large book box and then adhered the other 2 books to it. I was tempted to add more "stuff" to the clock, but I thought that a more simple style would fit more with my home decor. All in all, it was a rather easy project to put together!
Wouldn't this make a fun little place to hide something?!

  1. YAY! I have the Droid Incredible too! I loves that phone! Just don't get angry birds... I don't even like video games and that one had me hooked for a while!

Did I ever tell you which felt to get? It's the wool felt ok. Holler at me if you need links!

  9. This is ingenious!!! I will do this when I move out and into an apartment one day (hopefully this year!)

I love clocks. If I had my way, there would be a clock on every wall. I'm always wanting to know what time it is, but I hate watches, lol.
