Hello friends and welcome to Newton's Nook Designs Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop! We are having a super fun hop to share some fabulous Newton's Nook inspiration with you along with your chance to win some fabulous prizes. We have several amazing guest designers participating and I know you will love what you see as you hop along. All the details about how to win are below. Now, it's time to take a few minutes to check out a couple of cards I created using a couple of my favorite stamps from the recent Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release.

Merry Christmas Mouse Cards | Naughty Mice Stamp Set

In real life, I do not like mice. I have stories about mice that no one wants to hear. But, I've made a special exception for the adorable mice on the Naughty or Mice Stamp Set! I mean seriously, when they look so cute with Christmas hats and candy canes, who can resist?!

I began by stamping a few of the mice onto Neenah 110 lb white cardstock with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I then colored them with Chameleon Pens. Next, I used the coordinating Naughty or Mice dies to cut out the mice.

For the background on each card, I used the Frames and Flags die set to cut a large frame from green cardstock.  On the first card I die cut a tag from red cardstock using the Fancy Edges Tag die set. On the second card I used a stitched oval die as the base for my design.

I used the Sentiments of the Season stamp set for each of the sentiments and then die cut them using the stitched banner die from the Frames and Flags die set.
