Fun with Chipboard and the Chip Art Tool

Today I wanted to share with you some of the products I have had played around with while using the GCD Studios Chipboard and Chip Art Tool. Melody Ross has shared some amazing ideas with us using paint and a fun distressed look. You can see a great little video HERE. I love this look, but struggle to use it with my style. I decided to go on an adventure of my own and see what other looks I could come up with!

I will be sharing one of the many combination's I discovered with you on the GCD Studios blog and on my blog as well on April 16th. So stay tuned!!!

Here are some of the products I have tried so far...
  • Water-based Dye Ink
  • Acrylic Paint
  • Silver/Gold Leafing Pens by Krylon
  • Stickles by Ranger (any glitter product would work!)
  • Glimmer Mist
  • Shimmerz ...Paintz or Spritz (actually any of their products work well!)
  • Folk Art Antiquing Medium (If you like the distressed look that Melody has shared, but don't want to have to mix up your own paint and Mod Podge I have the answer for you. Folk Art Antiquing Medium! It gives it an awesome aged look with out the work! (Call me lazy if you want to, but I love this less messy option!))
I have found that by mixing and matching these various products you can get a wide array of looks. You just have to let go and free yourself up to making a mess! I promise, you will have fun and come up with something super cool and crafty during the process!

Happy Hugs!
