Ice Cream You Scream

Happy Monday friends! Today I'm super excited to share a couple cards I created as part of a collaboration between Scrapbook.com and Catherine Pooler! I was sent some amazing products to create with to celebrate that Catherine Pooler's products are now available at Scrapbook.com! How awesome is that?!

All of the products I'll be sharing with you today were generously sent to me by Catherine Pooler Designs. With that being said, everything I share about them is my own opinion. A full supply list with affiliate links to Scrapbook.com can be found below.

I've only had the opportunity to play with Catherine Pooler Inks at a friends house (you know who you are!) and now that I have a few of my own and had more time to play with them, I can already tell I'm going to need to grow my collection! These inks are fabulous and stamp up beautifully! I was super impressed with how the Midnight Ink Pad works perfectly with Copic Markers!

The first card I want to share with you is a shaker card featuring the I Scream You Scream Stamp Set and Punctuated Party Stamp Set. I used the fun dot border stamp from the Punctuated Party Stamp Set to create a custom background. I stamped the image in a variety of ink colors including: Melon Ice, Be Mine, Mint To Be, It's A Girl and It's A Boy.

I then created a shaker using a scallop circle die from my stash. On the inside of the shaker, I stamped a sentiment from the I Scream You Scream Stamp Set and then filled it with the Charleston Sequin Mix.

I then added some of the cute ice cream treats along the left hand side. They were all stamped with Midnight Ink and then colored with Copic Markers. I finished them off with some white gel pen detailing and then colored over each one with a glitter brush pen. Once everything was adhered, I attached it all to a piece of patterned paper from the Sum Sum Summertime 6x6 Paper Pad.

My next card features the adorable ice cream truck from the I Scream You Scream Stamp Set. Doesn't this image just scream Summertime?! This image was also stamped with Midnight Ink and colored with Copic Markers.

I used stamps from the Punctuated Party Stamp Set to create the border along the left hand side. I then added in a few sequins from the Charleston Sequin Mix. For the sentiment, I die cut black cardstock using the Celebrate Die and then finished it off using "time to" from the Punctuated Party Stamp Set. As on my first card, after everything was adhered, I attached it all to a piece of patterned paper from the Sum Sum Summertime 6x6 Paper Pad.

You might have noticed a little ink blending around the outside edge of the first card and this second card. I used Scrapbook.com's Clear Stackable Sponge Daubers to blend the ink around the edge. This ink blended beautifully with the sponge daubers. My only tip would be to tap off the excess onto a craft mat before you attempt to apply it to your paper. These ink pads are wonderfully juicy, so a little ink will go a long way!
