Do you have your hop on?

If you have arrived here from Diana Broduer's blog then you must be hopping along with the GCD Studios Design Team Blog Hop! Thanks so much for playing along and for stopping by! I hope you have enjoyed your stops along the way and have seen some things that will inspire you to create your own one of a kind, uniquely you necklaces! I had a great time playing with the Melody Ross Chip Art Necklace kit and really struggled with selecting which one to work with. But the round one won out in the end! I still have the rectangle one, so I am sure something crafty will happen to it some time soon! Here is what I did with mine...
I used the Chip Art tool to create the stamped images in the chipboard after I had colored it using a Krylon Silver Leaf marker! I then applied a coat of spray acrylic paint to it and finished it off by adding a little bit of bling! This was seriously, super simple to create! It only took me about 10 minutes + drying time!

So now for the details on this blog hop...
GCD Studios has 10 fabulous prizes to give away! You need to leave a comment on all of the blogs along the entire blog hop for your chance to win. So, if you have gotten this far and you have not left any comments and you want to win, well... you need to back it up and start leaving some love! From all of the comments, we will then select 10 random comments from 10 different blogs as the winners. The winners will be announced on the GCD Studios blog.

Next, I wanted to THANK YOU for stopping by my blog today so I am having my own little give away! I will be giving away this Homespun Chic Chipboard Mini Album Kit along with a few other scrappy goodies that I am sure will put a smile on your face! I will randomly select the winner from all of you who leave a comment on my blog between now and 12:00 AM (Midnight) CST on Tuesday September 7. I will announce the winner of my give away on Wednesday!!!

So now off you go to your next stop...Megan Klauer!

Thanks for stopping by!

You will not want to miss out on this....

If you love jewelry and crafting, this will be the blog hop for you! Make sure to stop back by the GCD Studios blog for all the details on September 6th!

So grateful....

Kind of a short and sweet one today...a recent layout I created for the Bo Bunny blog using the new Olivia collection! I have to admit I have completely fallen in love with this new line, but really that are all gorgeous! On this layout I used the some of the new wraps. Can you spot it? It is the green border along the left hand side!
Now look at it a bit closer...do you see anything? Yep, you guessed it! I heat embossed on it using the large flower in the Olivia Clearly stamp set.
Doesn't it add a nice touch?! And 0f course, I had to add some flowers, which are all hand cut from the paper and then layered for more dimension.
And that gorgeously delicate looking border around the photo is a digital die cut called Lace Borderlines by Laina Lamb and you can find it here!

This LO was created with special thoughts for my hubby cakes as we are coming up on our 5 year anniversary in September! I am so very grateful for him and all we have together! I love you baby!!!

Thanks for stopping by and reading the last little bit of mushiness and not getting totally grossed out!

Happy Hugs!

Are you playing along?

I just wanted to remind you all about the fabulous contest going on this month at GCD Studios! You have a chance to win this...
You that still have time to enter for your chance to win! Stop by the blog HERE for all the details!

And have you all stopped by the GCD Studios blog lately?
Our theme this month was to create a layout about our home town!
The design team has been sharing about their home towns and why they love them! So many of the gals have done such a great job with this!. I did not play along with this challenge this month due to some time constraints, but I think it was such a great idea for a layout! Here are a few of my favorites so far...
This design by Heidi V really made my eyeballs happy! Look how she re-created that gorgeous mountain scene with her patterned papers! So clever!!!
For this layout I really loved how Jamie used the chipboard stickers and a photo of her hometowns welcome sign to welcome you!!!I adore butterflies and I really adored how Lea used them on her hometown LO! They really make your eye move through the design!
Another little project I wanted to make sure you saw was this super cool necklace by Lesli! If you haven't seen it, stop by HERE and check out the details on how she created it!!!
Well, that's all for now! Thanks for stopping by!

And I really wanted to let all of you know how much I truly appreciated all the kind words, compliments and well wishes with regards to my continuing with the Bo Bunny design team! It really does mean a lot to me!!! Thank you so much!!!

Happy Hugs!
