Elle's Studio + PageMaps September

I'm happy to share that Elle's Studio has teamed up with PageMaps for their September Newsletter. For those of you who don't know, PageMaps is a free sketch resource for scrapbookers and card makers. They release a monthly newsletter with new sketches and ideas on how to use the sketches to create layouts and cards.

For the September PageMaps, I created a 12 x12 layout using one of Becky's awesome sketches. I really enjoyed working with it to create my "Hello" layout. I hope you will check out the newsletter for more inspiration from the PageMaps Design Team as well as from my fellow Elle's Studio Design Team members.

I used a combination of Elle's Studio Shine and 2014 collections to create this layout. I also used one of my new DIGITAL CUT FILES - CLOUDS, which you can find in my 17turtles Etsy Shop. You have to look closely for them, because I cut them from vellum. I really love the subtle touch of fun and texture they add to the page without being distracting.

Page Maps + Bo Bunny

Happy 7th Anniversary, PageMaps!

Bo Bunny is joining PageMaps in its month-long anniversary celebration, and all the party details can be found here. As a member of the Bo Bunny design team we were asked to participate in the "Shape It Up" challenge with Marla Kress, where we were asked to create a shaped card using a PageMaps sketch for inspiration. It was such a fun challenge! Bo Bunny would love to see what you create with this same challenge and they have sweetened the pot with a prize package of our newest release - Key Lime! You can join the challenge here.

 This is the shaped card I created for the PageMaps challenge. I was inspired to create a cupcake shaped card after seeing the sketch. It also inspired me to add some little banners for my sentiment! I used a FREE cut file from Birds Cards called Cupcakes2. She provided both the die cut shape for the fun layers on the front of the card as well as the card base!  I used Bo Bunny's Surprise collection to create the card. 



This is the fabulous PageMaps sketch that I used for my card!
