Quick and Easy Birthday Cards Pebbles Birthday Wishes Collection Juliana Michaels
Hello and Happy Friday! I don't know about you, but I prefer to give handmade birthday cards. In fact, if I don't have time to make one, I will usually just not even give the person a card. This is terrible! To help me remedy this problem, I recently created a set of quick and easy birthday cards that I'm sharing with you today. I created them using the Pebbles Birthday Wishes collection. I just love how quickly this set of cards came together using the Journaling Cards and Cardmaking Pad. On some of the cards, I simply layered the journaling cards with scraps of patterned paper from other projects that I've created using this collection. On others, I added some of the coordinating die cuts embellishments. I then adhered them to the card base. So super quick and easy!

Along with keeping them quick and easy, I also wanted the cards to be easy to mail. With that in mind, I purposely avoided bulky embellishments. I didn't let this make the cards boring though! I used a Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust Pen to add a touch of bling to the journaling cards by coloring in some of the designs. It added such a nice touch of sparkle without the mess of glitter. It is a little difficult to photograph, but easily enjoyed in person!

Along with this set of quick and easy birthday cards, I also created a Birthday Calendar and Card Organizer that you can see on the Pebbles blog today. The organizer has fun pockets that I created using the Birthday Wishes Gift Bags. They easily hold several cards, so that I am always ready when I need a handmade birthday card for a friend or family member. I hope you'll take a minute to stop over and visit the Pebbles blog to check out my project!

So, do you make your birthday cards or do you buy them? Inquiring minds want to know!
