Lucky To Have You | Bo Bunny

March has arrived! I can't believe how quickly February came and went. The good news is that every day is one more day closer to me being able to move into our new house! We closed on it this past Wednesday and we will move in the end of this month.  It's a long story, but the people we bought the house from needed a little extra time to move into their new place and we know them so it's all good.
So now let's get to something scrappy! On the Bo Bunny blog we are starting off March with our monthly Layout Challenge. The challenge this month is to use the work "LUCKY" on your layout. I did a search and found several great ideas for using this word including the following:
I choose to use "Lucky To Have You" because it went perfectly with this photo of my sister and my nieces as they enjoyed the St. Patrick's Day parade last year.

I used the Family Is collection, which is quickly becoming one of my all time favorite collections! I really love the colors and patterns that are a part of this collection!!! I cut some of the Polaroid images from the Family Is patterned paper and used them as embellishments on the layout. I then finished it off by adding some stickers and chipboard pieces!

I created the title using their Chipboard Alphas. I used Ranger Distress Ink in Faded Denim to color the Chiffon Chipboard to get the color I wanted. The original color was lost on my layout, but the new color really helps it stand out more.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Make sure you stop back by on Sunday as I share my layout for Creative Scrappers Sketch #250.

  1. Oh how funny that BoBunny too have Lucky in their challenge this month (so does Imaginisce!). Though, I shouldn't be surprised with it being March and all. The polaroid frames backed with PP are great! You are lucky to have such lovely ladies in your life!
